1/2 Day & Sunset Charters

Hello,

I did a half day tour with your company on the afternoon of Thursday 23^rd June.

I would just like to provide feedback that it was a fantastic trip. This was due to your wonderful crew Rob and Ben. They were professional, welcoming and very helpful and kept a clean boat at all times. This made the experience even more enjoyable.

I have also attached the photo taken of them with the coral trout that I caught. Please feel free to use in any advertising if that is needed.

I will also continue to recommend your company with others and my sister will pass on to people she knows are travelling to Darwin as she manages a backpackers in Yungaburra and runs her own fishing charters on Tinaroo.

Hope this can be passed onto the approriate person. Myself, my partner and my father went on a half day fishing trip yesterday. Just wanted to pass on how impressed we were with the boy's and how they made it a great trip, they helped us when needed and were very informative but not over the top. All in all a relaxed environment. Apart from my father deciding he would be helping by cleaning the boat on the way back in, how embarrassing.....lol Thanks again....

I just wanted to touch base and say thank you for all your assistance getting us out fishing on Anzac Day. We had a fantastic day!

Rob and Anthony should be commended on the there professionalism and passion for their job. They ensured every one on board was comfortable, having fun, catching fish and safe at all times.

I personally could not have had a better day, I think I managed 30 odd fish (size doesn’t countJ)! And Anthony was very kind to bait my hook ALL day.

Each of our group had a sensational day and we have been actively spreading the word around our social groups.

Hi Lori,

I am back in Brisbane now and wanted to send a huge thanks for my half day fishing trip.  Unfortunately I was only able to catch a small fish (although I did get a picture taken with one of the larger ones caught!), the trip was still great though and it looked like everyone on board enjoyed themselves.  Rob and Jamie were looking after us on the day and did a fantastic job especially for the children on board.

We had a fantastic time and Rob and Anthony were extremely professional and very knowledgable, Anthony was a fantastic deckhand - there was always bait on your hook before you knew you needed it and the deck was spotlessly clean every minute.  Rob was a very competent skipper and chef – I’m a convert for croc burgers now!  All safety issues were very clearly and expertly covered and they moved very quickly to spots as they identified where the fish were.  I couldn’t fault them on anything.

I think your other guests were a bit surprised at the large number of girls in the party but they warmed to us when we told them where to go for happy hour on a Friday night!

It was great fishing – everyone went home with some – and we loved the tim tams!  Thank you so much for them.

Thank you too for accommodating us at an exceptionally good discount – we appreciated that very much.

It was a wonderful morning.

Just a quick note to thank you for a great days fishing.

We did a half day fish last Wednesday (21^st October) and had an absolute ball.

The crew (Rob & Anthony) were great value, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable.

The fish came in fairly fast (for one of our fishing expeditions anyway) a mix of small and large and different species.

My wife Sharon was particularly pleased with the 7.5kg Yellow Tail Trevally caught after Rob called last 10 minutes.

Your attitude and manner during our booking was excellent (I tend to ask a lot of questions)

Thanks again for a great family holiday experience. We will happily recommend your business to anyone we know travelling to Darwin.

I would just like to say my husband and I had a great afternoon on your charter on Saturday. The staff on board Robert and another guy were absolutely wonderful. I caught a shark and my husband caught several other species . It was awesome to see one of the passengers catch a massive jewfish.

Best fishing charter to date. Many fish varieties and quantities, except for the elusive jew - will get him next time. The crew were fantastic and made the best of the poor weather conditions. We'll be back!

Just would like to say a 'huge' thank you to your firm for giving us a most wonderful start to our 'Top End' holiday. We booked on a sunset fishing trip and Ray (husband) caught a black jew fish (proof photo attached)...everyone down here (Victoria) drops their jaw when they see the photo. Must say a big thanks to Shannon and Joel who helped make a great night even better with their nonstop attention to everyone on board and very tasty BBQ. Thanks guys, we recommend you to everyone down here!!! We have promised ourselves to go back one day... See you then.

Dear Micheal,

I so did not want to come home it is freezing here raining and cold all day yesterday. The fishing trip was great I thought I would be worried about the kids but they all behaved so well the boys did a great job and were the perfect hosts. We all caught fish and really enjoyed ourselves I didn't think it was windy but don't forget I had only been there 2 days and to me the weather was perfect. Thank you so much for your service and I will keep you in my address book as we plan to be back again next year.

Hi Fish Darwin,

I just wanted to send you a thank you for the charter we went on, on the 20th May this year, not sure if ya skipper or deck hand remembers us, but doesn't matter, I just thought use might like a copy of the Estuary Cod I caught on the sunset cruise. We will defiantly look at going again next trip to Darwin, as we come from Bendigo in Victoria. Once again thanks heaps!

Dear Fish Darwin,

I did a half day charter with you guys last week, and had an absolutely fantastic time!! I caught a 25lb black jew and 2 golden snapper. Now I'm back home in Forster NSW and I would like to buy one of the ugly stick gold rods I used on your charter. They were great rods, very strong, but sensitive, and they had what looked like stainless guides. I do a fair bit of offshore fishing here and I reckon that they would be great for what I do. Thanks again for a once in a lifetime experience!!

Just a quick note to advise that I received our refunded deposit. On behalf of all the guys in our group I would like to thank you on the manner in which you conduct your business. Both yourself and Shaun were extremely helpful at all times. We are all extremely disappointed that we had to cancel our May charter, however we are looking at it as merely a postponement not a cancellation. We all hope to be in touch with you sooner rather than later to organise another date for a charter. Again thank you and we apologise for any inconvenience to you.

I  want to thank you, Campbell & Benn for our wonderful time on the Harbour recently.  John & I were most impressed with Cam and Benn and their no-nonense approach to their duties.  They were both alert to the needs of their guests and extremely polite and helpful.  Whilst the fish were not as accommodating as we would have liked we cannot fault the catering, service and faciltities.  John and I wish you all the best, please pass on out thanks to the lads and be assured we are recommeding you to all who want a unique fishing experience.
