We move about the historic wrecks and reefs of Darwin Harbour (which is massive, many times the size of Sydney Harbour) - your actual destination depends on the tides, weather conditions and where the fish are biting!
A mixture of bottom dwellers and pelagics such as black jewfish, golden snapper, Spanish mackerel, Spanish flag, javelin fish, blue boned tusk fish, giant trevally, queenfish and long-tail tuna.
Daiwa reels with Ugly Stick rods. We provide pilchard and squid bait and use circle hooks which allows fish to be released.
You will be on either one of our two boats:
Dolphin Diver is a 33 foot boat and Northern Exile is a 46 foot boat. Both have a large walk around fishing deck, a shade canopy, comfortable seating, rod holders, a flushing toilet and the latest in marine navigation and safety technology.
Your crew will cook up a delicious "Territory style" barbeque for you out on the Harbour. Entrée is marinated prawn skewers which is followed by crocodile burgers served with salads, cheese and fresh bread. We can also cook up the catch of the day!
There is iced water and tea/coffee on board and a large iced esky for your drinks
Just your hat, sunglasses, sunscreen, camera and soft drinks or alcohol.
Yes, we do promote catch and release of small fish but are happy for you to take home some dinner! Your crew will clean and fillet your catch and provide fish bags and ice for you.
